Safety

Your safety is our top priority on our trips and courses.  Safety starts with the initial planning of our trips and courses, and it will continue through to the end of the program. Your guide will make it their business to manage and reduce the risk while in the field with you. Please note that we can not eliminate all risk from traveling in the mountains. Wild carnivores, rock fall, flash flooding, joint strain, heat exhaustion and wild fires are only a few of the risks that can occur when walking across a mountain landscape. While all winter trips and courses will take place in non avalanche terrain, temperatures can be cold. It is important that you follow the direction of your guide while you are in the field. They are pretty good at reading your comfort level, but do speak up if you have a concern.  It is standard in the outdoor adventure industry to have every participant sign a release of liability waiver before joining a trip or course. Please read the waiver(s) carefully before you commit to booking a trip or course with us. Thank you.
