Welcome! We thank you for considering a booking with Hike Banff, and we look forward to sharing a mountain adventure with you. We will be happy to accept your booking after you have read and understood the terms and conditions below.  We look forward to traveling with you!

Prices

Prices are in CAD and all prices are subject to change without notice. 

Sales Tax

Listed prices do not include the 5% Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST). This tax will be added to your total price when you book. 

Methods of Payment

We accept credit card payments or Electronic Fund Transfers to info@hikebanff.com. For your security we do not keep credit cards on file.

  • For day trips and courses full payment must accompany booking.

  • A 35% deposit reserves your reservation on multiday hiking trips. The balance of payment is due three months prior to trip departure.

  • Full payment must accompany bookings made less than 12 weeks before trip departure.

Booking Conditions 

  1. Please note that you will be required to sign Hike Banff’s Waiver of Liability prior to your trip departure. Please read the Liability waiver and let us know that you agree to the terms and conditions of the waiver before sending in any payment for trip registration.

  2. While we will do our best to guarantee trip departures, Hike Banff reserves the right to change or cancel any itinerary, trip, or course at any time due to insufficient sign up, bad weather conditions, or any other reason beyond Hike Banff’s control that makes running your trip unsafe or unadvisable. 

  3. The participation of any person on any trip is subject to the discretion of your guide. 

Withdrawal Policy

We highly recommend that you protect your investment with trip insurance. In the event that Hike Banff cancels a trip or course, your full payment will immediately be refunded. Should you need to cancel from a trip or course, the following conditions apply

  1. Cancellations made 30 days before trip departure on Day HIkes or Day courses, the full deposit is returned. Cancellations made 42 days prior to trip departure for multi day trips will receive a full refund.

  2. Cancellations made after 30 days prior to trip departure for Day HIkes and Day Courses results in a loss of the entire amount paid. Cancellations made after 42 days prior to multi day trips and courses results in loss of the entire amount paid.

Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation and interruption insurance to safeguard your investment. Simpson Group offers a wide range of travel insurance options including Trip Cancellation/Interruption, Travel, Medical, and Personal Effect Loss for both Canadian and International Travellers.
