Map & Compass Navigation Skills
This full day course will start from the beginning in identifying all the details in map reading to help you plan a route through the mountains as well as to know where you are at all times. The afternoon will be spent on how to use a compass, take and follow a bearing from the map and from the field, a necessary skill to travel with confidence in the wilderness.

one day outside understanding and reading Topographical Maps and using a compass with the topographical map
